We Love Pancakes!

Last Wednesday we celebrated Pancake Day at School. This is a very popular festivity in the Uk and the USA. Children learned some facts about Pancake Day and how to make pancakes. Finally they ate a pancake. They were delicious! In the third cycle pupils also played to toss the pancake in the air. They had a very good time!

El dimecres vam celebrar Pancake day a l'escola. Aquesta és una festa molt popular al Regne Unit i els EEUU. Els alumnes van aprendre algunes curiositats sobre els pancakes i com fer-ne. Al acabar cadascú es va menjar un Pancake. Estaven molt bons! Els alumnes de tercer cicle també van jugar a llançar el pancake a l'aire i agafar-lo. S'ho van passar d'allò més bé!

• 100 g. flour
• 200 ml. milk
• 1 egg
• 1 soup spoon of oil
• a pinch of salt

CHRISTMAS WORKSHOP

Here you have some pictures of the Christmas workshop. In this occasion the children have learnt some stories and Christmas carols. The older students have also learnt about how Christmas is celebrated around the world.

Ací teniu algunes fotos del taller de nadal. En aquesta ocasió els alumnes han aprés algunes històries i nadales en anglés. Els més majors també han aprés com es celebra el Nadal en altres parts del món.

HALLOWEEN WORKSHOP

Aquest curs s'han organitzat a l'escola unes sessions de contacontes en anglés a càrrec de Heather Bonte. 

La primera sessió ha sigut per a celebrar Halloween i que els alumnes conegueren millor aquesta festa tan popular als EEUU i Gran Bretanya.

Els alumnes han baixat per cursos a la sala multiusos i han pogut escoltar alguns contes adaptats al seu nivell com "The Gruffalo" o "Winnie the witch". També han cantat cançons, han ballat i s'han mostrat molt participatius.

La propera visita serà el 7 de desembre. Al primer i segon cicle la temàtica serà l'hivern i el nadal i al tercer cicle el dia d'acció de Gràcies.
